Trip to Port City

~~ Be a traveler in your own nation; without a goal and a passport, you might easily become lost! ~~

Short trips are helpful for taking a quick getaway within one's own homeland! It gives me a chance to learn more about the nature and people in my community and to feel proud of where I was brought up! I thus took five days off last week to travel to Chattogram.

Chittagong, often known as Chattogram, is the port city and the second-largest city in Bangladesh. This city has both hills where you may appreciate the splendor of nature and the majesty of the sea. Many visitors' attractions make Chittagong a great spot to explore with friends and family. It is a very significant and vibrant place that is worth seeing.

#1 Exploring Sita Kunda Eco Park

The Sita Kunda Eco Park is situated in the Chittagong district's Sita Kunda upazila. Around 37 kilometers separate this lovely park from Chittagong's center. It has Supta Dhara and Shahasra Dhara, two well-known waterfalls. The park contains a number of walking routes, making it a good area to enjoy the outdoors. The greatest time to visit the park if you enjoy greenery is when it is raining. Otherwise, people typically visit this park in the winter. Due to the weekend, Friday and Saturday are often busy days.

#2 Foy’s Lake & the Sea World

In the Khulshi neighborhood of Chittagong is Foy's Lake. There are a few boats on the lake that you can rent to explore. At the opposite end of the lake, there is a sea world. You must travel by boat. The modest amusement park is enjoyable for visitors, especially for kids. In case anyone is interested, it has a small zoo. This is a fantastic destination for a weekend family outing. One of the oldest Chittagong tourist destinations is definitely Foy's lake.
#3 Kaptai Lake
From the Chittagong district, one can also travel to the well-known Kaptai Lake. Chittagong is where the Kaptai dam comes to an end (where the hydroelectricity is produced). The majority of visitors to this lake come from Rangamati or Chittagong. Travelers should enjoy seeing this lake. The guest home is a lovely location to take in the lake's magnificence. Don't forget to rent a boat to enjoy the lake!
#4 World War II Cemetery

In Chittagong, the World War II cemetery is close to 9 Badshah Mia Chowdhury Road. It's a peaceful and pleasant location to be. This cemetery is a great place to visit, especially if you have a few hours to kill while in Chittagong. There are 755 graves inside this cemetery. The majority of those are known. The cemetery is open daily from 7 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm.
#5 Patenga Sea Beach

One of Bangladesh's most stunning and well-liked beaches is Patenga Sea Beach. From Chittagong city, it is only 14 kilometers. At the confluence of the Karnaphuli River and the sea, Patenga offers stunning views of dawn and sunset. Watching the sunset from here and the evening hours are very enjoyable in the afternoon. The experience of being on the speedboat and navigating the sea in Patenga is fantastic. You can create a memory for the future by making a purchase at the Burma Market.
#6 Cox's Bazar

Cox's Bazar Beach is a good place to start if you want to hear the waves and feel the breeze. In several beach locations, including Suganda Beach, Laboni Beach, and Kolatoli Beach, you can start walking the coast from end to end. Don't forget to visit Inani Beach, a coral beach located about 32 kilometers from Dolphin Square. You should also take a drive down Cox's Bazar's Marine Drive Road. Cox's Bazar beaches and the mountains on either side of the route provide the most picturesque scenery.
